This Belgian Linen has a heavier weave and weight producing a finer and smoother surface to paint more detailed works of art. Sized twice to support and seal the canvas, and primed twice with thick acrylic gesso, to produce a universal surface for most paint types. The ground protects against oil paints from leaching through to the canvas. Each archival panel is sized to seal the rigid MDF Engineered Wood, which is the highest quality and most stable composite material available. The canvas is mounted using our pH balanced PVA glue, and then beautifully and uniquely finished with a vinyl backing, creating a double-sided impervious moisture barrier to keep the board flat.
