This Belgian Linen has a heavier weave and weight producing a finer and smoother surface to paint more detailed works of art. Sized twice to support and seal the canvas, and primed twice with thick acrylic gesso, to produce a universal surface for most paint types. Each canvas panel is meticulously handmade and inspected to stringent quality standards. We use MDF Engineered Wood, the most stable composite material available, and prime it four times before mounting the canvas using our pH balanced PVA. The back is covered with vinyl creating a double-sided impervious moisture barrier for improved stability. And with our unique process, we stress relieve each panel which keeps it as flat as possible.
