This highly absorbent ground is universally acceptable for most all paint types. The heavier weight linen has a finer weave and creates an even finer surface texture, ideal for Plein Air. Each canvas panel is meticulously handmade and inspected to stringent quality standards. We use MDF Engineered Wood, the most stable composite material available, and prime it four times before mounting the canvas using our pH balanced PVA. The back is covered with vinyl creating a double-sided impervious moisture barrier for improved stability. And with our unique process, we stress relieve each panel which keeps it as flat as possible.
